Ainslie Urban Farm grows a variety of seasonal microgreens in a greenhouse located in Ainslie. The greens are grown in seed raising mix, in re-useable trays, watered and grown in natural light. The list above indicates current seed stock, however, not all varieties are grown all year round.

The microgreens come in trays 33 x 14cm and are currently priced at $20 per tray. They store best if you place the tray in a bain marie style metal dish containing 1-2cm of water in the cool room. Please note that basil will go black if stored below 10 degrees Celsius. Alternatively they also store well if cut and washed and placed in a sealed container.
